Background

The Tyabb Storage Basin supplies the Mornington Reservoir and Mornington zone, as well as the Westernport area and Dromana Reservoir.

Operational issues have been experienced with a number of the Tyabb reservoir inlet and outlet valves.

Scope of Works

• Renewal of 11 inlet valves and 19 outlet valves
• Supply and installation of 15 butterfly valves, 3 check valves and 12 sluice valves
• Renewal of 4 air relief valves
• Assessment of bypass pipework
