Background

There are 26 SST’s in use at the Eastern Treatment Plant (ETP) located in the south east of Melbourne, Victoria. Melbourne Water ordered a condition assessment report in June 2017 for providing recommendations on the remediation works to perform and their level of criticality to be completed.

Scope of Works

• Replacement of existing floor and wall joint seals
• Remediation works to the SST concrete walls
• Minor repairs to damaged surface coatings of structural steel elements above the water level of the structure
